Description & Details
The serpent swallowing its own tail was Victorian shorthand for eternal love—Albert gave Victoria a snake ring at their engagement and the motif ran through the rest of the century. This coiled example is built on flexible gas-pipe tubogas links with a hand-engraved head and cabochon ruby eyes, so it wraps the wrist twice and holds its shape without a clasp.
