Our diamonds
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined diamonds. We select ours at D–G colour, VS2+ clarity and Ideal cut, and certified stones can be requested.
Are they ethically sourced and conflict-free?
Yes. They require no mining, the supply chain is fully transparent and they are 100% conflict-free.
Can I request a certified stone?
Yes. Certified stones can be requested — write to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com. All our stones are selected at D–G colour, VS2+ clarity and Ideal cut.
Do you only use lab-grown diamonds?
Our jewelry features lab-grown stones. Through our bespoke service we can also reset natural diamonds from vintage pieces or your own stones.
How do you list carat weight?
By carat total weight (ctw), shown when you choose a stone size and as a decimal in the product details, following FTC guidelines.
Can I order a different carat weight?
We can custom make almost anything to almost any size. If you see something you like but not the carat weight you want, write to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com and we’ll send you an estimate.
Can I buy a loose lab-grown diamond?

Gold & finish
Which metals do you offer?
18kt yellow, rose or white gold. The options for each piece are shown on its product page.
What gives the blackened finish?
Rhodium-plated white gold, which adds lustre and durability.
Is the jewelry stamped?
Yes: 18K for the metal, DLP for De La Paix, and LCD for lab-created diamonds.
Can I engrave my ring?
Many of our engagement rings and wedding bands can be engraved. Write to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com.
Orders & payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major US credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank wire transfer.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through Shop Pay at checkout, with rates as low as 0% APR if you qualify.
Are your prices in US dollars?
Yes. Prices may be shown in local currency for convenience, but are always charged in USD. Taxes are calculated at checkout where required.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Each piece is made to order, so orders can’t be changed once payment is processed.
Shipping
How long will my order take?
Most orders take 2–3 weeks to arrive, but some items may take longer. All items ship free with FedEx 2Day in the US. Need it sooner? Write to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com.
How do you ship?
Free FedEx 2Day within the US; Priority Overnight is available. For international orders, contact bespoke@shopdelapaix.com.
Returns, warranty & repairs
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is handcrafted, we don’t offer returns or exchanges.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — a free lifetime manufacturing warranty.
Can I resize my ring?
Yes, ring sizing is free after your first purchase.
Do you offer repairs?
Yes. Diamonds and gold are durable but not indestructible. Write to customercare@shopdelapaix.com and we’ll help.

How do I find my ring size?

How do I clean my jewelry?
Warm water, a little dish soap and a soft brush, or an ultrasonic cleaner.
