Named as an homage to the spherical French ice cream dessert—the bombe glacée—the raised, rounded bombé shape became popular during the Edwardian era for the way it catches light across an unbroken curve. This cuff carries that volume in solid 18 karat gold, polished to a single fluid surface with no stone to interrupt it, and slips onto the ear without a piercing. Substantial worn alone, and it holds its own in a stack.
