Evening earrings should catch the light when you turn your head. These are our drops, convertible hoops and larger studs: lab-grown diamonds in Georgian button-back and collet settings, plus antique pairs from our vintage collection.

Many convert: take the drop off a hoop and the same pair works the next morning.

What earrings should I wear to a black tie event?

A diamond drop or a large stud reads best at night, especially with an updo or an open neckline. Keep the necklace minimal or skip it so the earrings lead.

Are the drops removable?

Several of our hoops have removable button-back drops, so one pair works for evening and for every day. Each product page says whether it converts.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined diamonds; only their origin differs. Every De La Paix design is set in solid 18kt gold.
