Old cut marquise champagne lab-grown diamond, 3 ctw, set east west in a solid 18kt gold Bouton setting. Vintage-inspired, ethically made by De La Paix.
The old cut marquise predates electric light—its broad facets were cut to hold a candle flame rather than a bulb, which is why the stone glows instead of flashing. Here a 3 carat champagne marquise is turned east west across the finger and cased in our Bouton setting worked entirely in solid 18 karat yellow gold, gold against gold so nothing cools the colour. A single stone, set the old way.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined diamonds. We select ours at D–G colour, VS2+ clarity and Ideal cut, and certified stones can be requested.
Can I choose a different carat weight or metal?
We can custom make anything to almost any size. If you see something you like but don’t see the carat weight you desire, reach out to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com and we will provide you with an estimate.
How long will my rings take to arrive?
Most orders take 2–3 weeks to arrive, but some items may take longer. All items ship free with FedEx 2Day in the US.
Do you make bespoke pieces?
Yes. We can change the stone, carat weight or gold, reset natural diamonds from a vintage piece, or create something new. Write to bespoke@shopdelapaix.com.
